Nicola was short-listed for the 2002 World Equestrian Games in her first year of partnering Active Walero. They went on to win team bronze at the 2003 European Championships at Hickstead and were members of the British team at the 2004 Athens Olympics. In 2004 and 2008, they were reserve national champions.
Nicola’s training is always sympathetic to the individual horse; not simply a "one fits all" methodology, but more a realistic approach to the best a particular horse can achieve. This understanding of limitations extends to the rider; she will not expect you to ride like a seasoned international, when your goal is Novice level. On the contrary, she seeks to help you attain your goals, not hers!
